Another 5,000 miles have come and gone, which means it was time for the usual round of maintenance. The longer commute is definitely adding miles faster than I'd like, but that's all the more reason to stay on top of things.

Nothing major this time around—just routine service to keep the 4Runner happy and hopefully avoid any surprise repairs down the road. While I had the hood open, I also took the opportunity to clean up the engine bay. After months of daily driving, dust, and road grime, it was definitely due. There's something satisfying about opening the hood and seeing a clean engine bay, even if nobody else ever notices.
